Rev.Dr.Manuel Jinbachian will be speaking about the political, religious and historical reasons for the battle of Avarayr. The Armenians lost one battle, that of Avarayr, but did not lose the war. The war continued till 481 when the Persians were forced to grant the demands of the Armenians in the peace treaty of Navarsag.
